This month Pixie visited communities in Lusaka, Zambia with Comic Relief to see how the money raised from Sport Relief is already changing lives there.

In Zambia one in four people are living in slums and there are very few job opportunities. Pixie met a group of inspirational women who have joined forces to run small savings schemes with the help of a project supported by money raised through Sport Relief.  The project has given the women access to small affordable loans which they have used to start their own businesses and break the cycle of poverty for a brighter, sustainable future for them and their families.
